Here's the 15,000 kiriban prize for lavaheart626. She asked me to draw one of her ferocious green blaze dragons.
Anyway, I've wanted to try out a new style for a while, so I took inspiration from airu's icons ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7576952/ ) and made something a bit more colorful and sharper than my usual stuff. Unfortunately, I overworked it and ended up putting way more time into it than I had originally planned on. Oops. >.>
Ah well, I got to try out a new coloring style, I made a fancy new scale brush, and I ended up with a pretty cool picture, so it's not all bad.
Critiques are fine with me as long as you don't mention the stars. I know that you wouldn't be able to see them with such a bright light source in your way, but I thought they looked cool, so I kept them. *waves around artistic license* Nyaaaaah. P:

I don't know why, but the colors are still kind of bugging me for some reason. I'm fine with the colors on the face, but the colors on the neck seem off to me (especially in the dark part of the neck). I'm not really sure what the problem is, though. Is the dark part of the neck too desaturated? Is the rest of the picture too saturated by comparison? Am I just not used to such a high contrast look? The world may never know~ *bites a tootsie pop*
