lol i don't keep hots
the closest i have is hognoses which if they managed to envenomate your pinky finger (which would only happen if you shoved it down their throat or let them do it)
you hand would swell up for a while
they are small snakes that are rear fanged
that rarely bite
generally when destressed then strike closed mouth and hiss or play dead

it's interesting to friend some of facebook (the ones that like to take pictures of their nature walk findings)
there is another person my age who has tons of venomous snakes
he doesn't care how dangerous they are
he has a false water cobra
rhino viper (subspecies of gaboon viper)
and hea also has a gaboon viper or two
i don't remember what else he has venomous wise
there are alot about snakes people don't know
some snakes lay eggs and some do live birth
certain snakes can have clutches up to 90 eggs
(some even more)

hes not really afraid of his snakes
it's his passion and his mother supports it
he knew what he was getting into way before he
got the snakes
he knows the danger and as far as hes concerned
if he gets bit and possibly killed by his own snake
he knew the risk and accepts it as a possibily
heck he got the gaboon viper knowing that even with antivenom there is a 50% mortality rate
he may be a little crazy
but atleast hes not living in fear
