Is there such a thing as too much of a good thing?
I made two versions of this song. This is the one I call "satin". It's less likely to hurt your ears. If you like this, you may be interested to hear the "steel" version, which I personally think sounds better. You can find it here:

I agree, it's pretty repetitive. In this case it's partly because I intentionally restricted myself to just this instrument and a few other percussion pieces to back it up. I've always found this kind of bell-like sound to be very beautiful, and so I wanted to ruthlessly exploit every drop I could out of it all in one song! No moderation for me!
