And I drew Anubis with his hat off, because of uh, fanservice I guess. He totally has his fans.

Honestly, that's kinda debatable- Much more than other mythologies, Egyptians had a much longer history in which their beliefs were recorded, and the gods themselves changed, merged, and assumed other identities, or absorbed each others powers and portfolios, its difficult to say consistently who was who for several individuals, and the passage of time makes it even more obscure.
Personally, due to the sheer number of beings that held the title of "Ra" at one point or another, I've stopped viewing it as a separate being, but rather a title/position of powers in which various gods assumed when they became popular enough, sort of similar how the title of Pharaoh conferred godlike status an power to a human.

Wow. This took some serious taste (and serious work!). I've never seen such a vivid description of Egyptian mythos before. Well, none that was dignified. Very good work! I really enjoy the way you chose to represent each particular character. Interesting that you drew Anubis more like an actual jackal than the image of jackals that the Egyptians illustrated.
Awesome. And I totally had to do crazy research for this. Those pictures in the background? Those are from a book I found at my university's library. The book is falling apart and is in a jacket that says 'Please handle with care, the book is very fragile'. It feels like . .. archaology.
This was really cool. I enjoy the fannish stuff with Anubis, but I also really appreciate someone doing something so true to the mythology.
I also liked the first-person point of view for the comic. I haven't seen that done before, that I can recall, so it gave it a different feel, which worked well for the whole judgement of the dead scene. Nice job on this!
