I think this was the first long composition I made after getting FL Studio, a long time ago. The name came about because it seemed beautiful but dark, and very harsh in its own ways, constantly trying to balance beauty and pain in a way that reminds me of the thorns on a rose.

There are no pre-made loops used in this song. The software used was Image-Line's FL Studio. I didn't use a midi keyboard. All of the instruments in this song are either stock synths and samples that came with the program, or modifications of them.
