Image 1 of 2.
A sort of variation of the .357 Red Star Raven custom, in 50 action express.
One trigger pull gets one shot fired, no full auto here unless you like broken wrists.
Like the .357 custom the 50AE custom has the red star design, but unlike the .357 the 50AE has an engraving on it, pretty much stating the obvious 'Raven 50AE'. I also added in brass fittings into the grip, it was a last minute thing, I think they help.
Given its caliber the 50AE custom has a compensator built into the gun itself to take a bit of the recoil off of it, but at the cost of having the sound thrown back in the face with a bit of GSR.
If I really had a choice between the 50AE and the .357 i'd probably go .357, the recoil on it is at least not going to break my wrist as much as the 50AE would definately do. either way these would make great replica's and stuff, wish I had a way to get the 50AE and .357 cast in heavy plastic or something so I could feel like a badass with one stuck in my leg holster.
Oh, forgot to mention, the magazine holds a stacked amount of 20-25 rounds, they aren't staggered like the ones in the .357's magazine. You have a significantly less amount of rounds, but in turn you have rounds large enough to kill wild hogs and or grizzly bears. Doesn't take a caveman to realize what that'd do to a person.

I gotta try modeling guns again. I haven't attempted it since I modeled a Bernardelli P010 back in 2011.

Do you have any tips on how to make the gun barrels preportional? Every time I try to model a weapon WITHOUT a reference, they are always too large or too small looking.

Not sure how to explain that. I usually eyeball it. Usualy the trigger isn't far from the rear of the trigger well and the guard itself is usually big enough to allow for one finger to fit into it with enough room to not cause the shooter to accidentally misfire the weapon.
