Yessh, Team Defender...sorta like a Sonic Heroes team, but it's more Mega Man X oriented. The 'X' of the team, essentially, the leader, is Kia. As not being just the leader, but an invalulable member, possessing an absolute shapeshifting power and infinite supply of internal Ring energy. The bands on her arms and legs help channel her energy for the sake of firing projectiles or dashing and double jumping. The 'bra' serves to keep all that energy stable and in check. If it were removed, her body could go haywire and no longer sustain her normal shape. Being the leader, Kia keeps her two unlikely partners in check: Yigal and Long. Yigal is the one in the left. Kizna helped me design her. She's the daughter of Kuragari and Xiao. She too, can shapeshift, but hers is a little different, summoning creatures from her body, would be an accurate way to put it. She's sorta like the Raven of the group but serves as the Axl of team, considering her ability. Regarding her species, she's half fox, coming from her father. Her mother however, is a different story. Last, but not least, is Long, whose the Zero of the group, kinda made obvious by his background color. Long is a dragon with a sort of inferiotity complex, always wanting to prove himself to be just as invaluable as Kia. His special abilty is gravity itself. This gives him the ability to float like a person would on the moon as well as bind enemies to the ground. Long and Yigal don't get along well. Most of it comes from their size difference and abilities. Kia, being the rational one, straightens them up. If they don't settle down then she force hugs them together. X3. All three work for G.U.N. similar to Shadow, Rouge and Omega. However they're relatively new members and have not met nor heard of the Sonic cast before.
