His tail is very strange. Does it hurt him at all? My cat had a sideways vertebrae at the very end of her tail, it had broken when she was a kitten and healed that way. Didn't hurt her none, but she hated it when you played with it. xD

He says it's a dog's name on a show he likes. xD And it's kind of funny, but I mean, how would you explain that to a vet? or tell a child what the dog's name is? xD So I think we all need to agree on a name, but we haven't really debated it yet.

I don't think it hurts, he wags it like crazy, but if it turns out we are keeping him I will insist on bringing him to a vet sometime soon since we have no idea what's up with his health, and I have no idea if he's had any shots.

And I'd ask about the tail. x3

I would find that wise. :3 Depending where you got him it's very likely he may have early heartworm, various intestinal parasites etc. that aren't really a risk unless it goes untreated for too long.


Had as in, we lost her and her sister 3 months ago. 3: I miss them very much. When we took her to the vet to have her fixed, the vet checked it out and said it was fine, it just healed that way.

LOL He thought of that, too. Or if he gets in an argument with someone and starts yelling, "ASSHOLE!" and the dog thinks he's done something wrong. x3

Yeah, I don't know this dog's history, but from what I've heard it wasn't...a good environment for a dog.

Blue is pretty common among AmBullies and Pitterstaffs, and I'd have to assume that he's one of those. Essentially blue is a dilute of black.

Raw feeding is great for bullies but if you feel it would be too troublesome, go with a good quality food with no corn in it that has meat as the first ingredient. A good site for dog food opinions is this one: http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/

That's what they call them

"Nose" is just indicative of color. It's not a type or a breed.
No such thing as a "red nose/blue nose" mix - a pit bull is a pit bull.

Though, "blue" tends to be bred mostly in American Bullies and "Pitterstaffs" (pit bull/american staffordshire crosses), as mentioned above. You don't see blue as commonly in true american pit bull terriers.

Better watch oit on Halloween. There's this thing going around that Halloween is "Kill a pitbull day". It's disgusting. Two people I know had pitbulls killed on halloween a few years back.

My dog is quite likely something along the lines of a pitbull/jack russell mix, except that she has beards on her legs and a collie type mane.

Her full name is Windsor since I didn't take a close look when we found her cold, sick and hungry as a six pound puppy, but after a proper inspection a couple days later during belly rubs, now we just call her "Windy." Tetris-Tail? I see a dog named "Tettie" or "Teddy!"

Haha, I have never given a pet a wrong name for the gender except for goldfish. If I name them before they are old enough to tell, they are ALMOST ALWAYS WRONG. xD

But Teddy is cute. :D Although I think we're warming up to "Z-Block", the block his tail looks like. xD
