This "thing" can be found on display at the Barthell Coal Mine Camp and Museum just outside of Stearns, Kentucky. The story is this thing was built by a man in Maysville, KY who ran it on a quarter mile of track on a farm he had there for his grandkids. The cab used to have a four cylinder engine that would drive the car deferential centered under the boiler. This would drive a set of tires that would push against the second and third set of drivers and push this thing along.
