"The Slugs" are a race of giant mollusk like, Lifeforms. Who value Wealth, Power, and lording over lesser races!

Simply known a "The Slugs" by other races. Only the slugs know their race's actual name. Some Aliens believe the name of the slugs, is too evil a word, and can never be spoken. The slugs find great amusement in this, an love to play upon these fears!


Slug Names a usually long and elaborate, often titles listing things they are most infamous for.
Example: "Yig-Mosha The Destroyer of worlds, who eclipses out all hope, and brings forth inescapable terror and madness"
or "Gex-Tai The brutal tyrant, who feasts on the fear of the universe"


Empowered with strong psychic abilities, Slugs can "crawl" into the minds of other aliens, to bend them to their will. They use this power to spread fear, and chaos, to any who resist them!
Most Slugs command large space cruisers, that are like large flying palaces. Filled with slaves, treasure, and powerful artifacts.
Their ships also house large arenas, were aliens fight for the Slugs entertainment!

Slugs rarely leave the comfort of they're ships, and loathe the idea of crawling on a planet's surface. To them planets are a place for lesser creatures, and space is a place for greater beings, like themselves!


Despite their lofty, an pompous attitude. they are not averse to taking companions, and mates from other races. Infact they prefer to have a mate of a different species, instead of their own kind.
Even former slaves have become the beloved of some Slugs.
One would think the slug race would be full of hybrids, and subspecies, from all the different aliens that have mated with them.
However the slugs are a High breed race, which means no matter what they mate with, the resulting child will be a Slug.

Slugs are also very affectionate lovers, Mating for life, and jealously guarding their mates.
It is common to see Slug lords with a human queen by their side. or a Slug empress courting a Dax'Del'Din consort.


Out of all the races in the galaxy, only two directly oppose the slugs. The lizard like Arejiin, and the noble Skaakk.
For centuries the Arejiin were slaves to the slugs. unable to resist the slugs psychic powers, they lived a life of misery, and shame. Till the day the Skaakk freed them from the slug's control.
The two now fight as allies against the slugs.
