Just a few WIP's before I finish this up! Still quite a bit to do- like trimming, glueing the bottom jaw down, a tongue, a lot of airbrushing, and whiskers! :D

I'm completely mystified by the idea of sewing the head patterns together and THEN pulling onto the head, as opposed to gluing them straight onto the base. It's equal parts genius and mind-blowing, in trying to imagine how to get all those little pieces sewn up and lined up right, without have the base as a guide. How do you DO it?! XD
You use the duct tape as a pattern for sewing, just as you'd use it for the fur anyway - you mark it, draw color separations, fur pile guidelines, etc - but when you cut the fur, you add a bit extra around the edges for seam allowance that you cut off later (so that there are no bumps). There are seams/holes left to allow space to pull over the head (usually the mouth works for that), and then the edges and necessary spots are tacked down with glue.
