Today marks my first day as Chief Scientific Officer of this vessel but sadly it's not something I can be entirely happy about. Apparently, my senior was deemed mentally unstable during his psych evaluations and was stripped of his access. I've heard a lot of stories about people going nuts on these long campaigns from being stuck on their ships for so long. I just didn't think it'd happen to him. Well, the most I can do now is try to continue his work. Makes me wonder what's going to happen to him though....
