Anyway, I really love the way the moon blends in with the tree here. Not sure how to explain it, but it just came out really nice. ;)
And I still love the new fluffy texturing style. Yay ^.^ <3

I like this, it is very nice! The fur is especially good, it looks very... furry! Comfy.

So, I actually have a humble suggestion... it may actually be silly if you're doing this as an intentional stylistic thing though. The potential issue I'm looking at is that, assuming this isn't intentional, the character still looks fairly flat, and I think that's mainly because it doesn't have very strong highlights and shadows. Just as an exercise, try pulling this back into an image editor and cranking up the contrast on the whole image, to look at how the character looks before and after... there are some issues with the edges, but as far as depth and lighting goes, I think it works amazingly well for such a rough effect. The character seems to have much more depth and it really accentuates the awesome work you did with the fur. So my suggestion is to consider experimenting with deeper shading and brighter highlights.
