Yeah, so my Panthers lost horribly last night, but I'm not mad about it, or anything -.-
Actually, I was pretty pissed last night XD Not really because the Giants beat the Panthers, but because of how poorly my Panthers played. The defense looked like a bunch of scared 5th graders playing football for the first time DX
But still, the offense could have done a LOT better, especially with the talent they've got. Thank god it's only week 3 lol.
And I just had to do this, mostly to vent it all out XD Enjoy!

You're a panthers fan? Well things just escalated quick... jk You can probably figure out what team I'm a huge fan of.
But trust me, as you probably seen yourself last week against the saints, your defense is nothing compared to the saints. Our defense look like the 5th graders would beat them up. lol In fact, calling them a defense would be an insult to other defenses. I have never seen a team give up so many big plays without making any of their own ever. It's like they are not even on the field. That is why the saint's D should be called the ghostfense, because they ain't showing up. It's so sad that it seems like an equivalent exchange went on where if we got one of the best if not the best offense, we would have the awfullest ghostfense of all time. XD

Lol, don't worry Bleux. In my opinion, everyone's got one rival team in their division that they actually do like, and will root for, if they're not against their own team. And mine's the Saints. Even though I'm a Panthers fan, I've also been rooting for the Saints for the past few years as well :) It may just be that I love Drew Brees, but I still root for them lol.
And I actually didn't see the game last week, due to the fact I'm actually in Kansas (I was stuck watching the shitty Chiefs game D:) but I was watching scores. And from that description, it sounds like the Saints showed up instead of the Panthers lol. Carolina's D was getting absolutely zero pressure ANYWHERE. They only touched Eli once the entire game, and it was a sack. And the corners were nowhere close to the receivers the entire game. You can't make plays on a receiver when you're over 5 yards away from them, but apparently no one told the Panthers' D that...
And "ghostfence", I like that XD Is their D really that bad?

Oh trust me, our biggest rivalry for us is against the falcons but that what makes it a great game. Though as a saints fan, every game puts you on the edge of your seat. (so saints fans can't have a faint of heart lol)
And yeah...our "ghostfense" is that BAD! Notice I can't call them a defense. lol I know you said how bad the panthers D is, but it is not as embarrassing as what we are doing. We are rank dead last in total defense in the NFL, and they been horrible like that since the Brees/Payton era started and probably before that. The only year that was excused was our Superbowl year only because they had the takeaway ratio high. (dang I miss Darren Sharper...) They can't stop the run consistently, barely sack QBs, and the worst of them all, they give...up...so many...20 30 40+ yards on what seems like every drive they are out there. All that added up just results in automatic scoring putting pressure on Brees to keep scoring, which is why he has to score 40 pts to win games at times. So they are just god awful. Brees gets our hopes up when he takes the field only for the ghosts the destroy it all...smh

Jeez, I didn't realize it was that bad lol. I would say it's a good thing you've got a good offense, but it's starting to look like even that isn't helping. I know their offense has a TON of talent, but it's gotta be frustrating for them to have the def...erm, ghostfense ruin it all. Like I said, I also root for the Saints, so I really hope they can turn things around. But, they're playing the Chiefs this week, so their chances of a win are pretty good lol. Their D may be horrible, but the Chiefs' offense looks like they've never played together a day in their life. They're not in sync at all, and it would be hilarious to watch, if it wasn't so embarrassing lol.
Yeah. I just we can at least get this win to run off of. Of course ever since the Browns game of '10, Rams game after our colt whipping last year, and the...Seattle game...we take no team for granted no matter how bad. I also hoping we can pick up some defensive players through free agency or trades because they would probably be much better than what we have now unless Spagnolia can put a miracle out his butt and make them good. lol And the panthers QB can be a threat at times especially since he's one of the league QB runners. So I'm pretty sure depending, this division is going to go down to the wire.
Very true. And, now that I think about it, the Chiefs did hand the Packers their only loss last year...but, I still think the Chiefs don't have what it takes right now to win this Sunday. But that's why they play the games on the field, and not on paper :)
And yes! I have been VERY impressed with Cam Newton. It's always good to have a versatile QB. However, I don't like their idea for the run game. Cam will hand the ball to the back, and he'll hesitate there, read the D, and make a decision right on the field whether to let the back have it, or take it himself. Every time they do it, it just seems really stumbly to me. Williams, Stewart, and Tolbert are all excellent backs, just give them the ball. Cam should only take it if he has the opportunity to make a big play when the pass is not an option.
As for the division, that's what I'm thinking, yeah. As much as I HATE to admit it, the Falcons are going to be really tough this year. They seem to have everything working out for them. It should be a good race!
