So later on today, I was tryin' to make myself draw. I decided to draw me, my mental state kinda. The thoughts that came to me were, 'I miss home so much' and 'I miss my friends so very much...' and 'i suck so much at art still, I have such a long way to go.' All those are true... and here they are, represented in this not-sad, but kinda frustrated pic.
This one was just kickin' boulders all the way, such a PAIN to get anything done RIGHT here. Ugh! It pissed me off how much effort i was putting in and getting nowhere.
Then I drew my feeties and I felt a little better... c8
So coloring... yeah, screwed that up, it's overdrawn... so many pencil and Prismacolor ink mistakes...
Then I colored in my feet and that made feel a bit better. :)
But overall, this sucks. And to top it off, I tried using spray fixative *after* coloring this in. Bad idea. Now the color in the original has bloomed out of the borders of the pencil linework. I mean cripes, is there any mistake I didn't make on this one? @_@
P.S. paws. More subdued. ;)

Perhaps... but the objective of drawing this was for me to do perfect practice, so I could make perfect. I rushed this and didn't draw it with love or other good emotion (all my best drawings are made with love in one form or another! Drawings need love like everything does, mwahaha...) and this...is what happens.
But still, I won't be such a big asshat and I'll take the compliment, and try to appreciate that this does succeed in conveying a good amount of what I wanted it to. Thanks :)

Thank you*big big hugs* :) Oh I won't give up on doing art at all. This one was one THOSE DAYS where everything seems to go wrong, and it came and passed. Every time I color with Prismacolor markers I remember Tig, hehe, she rocks at coloring with those much more than I do x3
