In response to the increasing threat of Collective activity in the Sol Sector, the UNMD has created these state of the art battle suits for its infantry. Called the HEBS or Hazardous Environment BattleSuit, or the Turtle-Suit by infantry, this advanced and expensive system allows the finest of UNMD's soldiers to execute missions in areas where normal infantry cannot.
The suit stands over 8 feet tall and safely encases the user in layers of plates coated in kevlar, steel and titanium. The users are selected from UNMD's commando unit and are further trained to operate this powerful armor, which doubles their strength and speed. The suit's odd look comes from using a powerful life support system that allows the user to function in zero-gravity and zero-pressure zones. Be it deep space or the surface of one of Jupiter's Moons, the HEBS delivers.
While able to preserve a life in space, it is also very tough and flexible, meaning the wearer can still move about with ease. The user is given a high powered fully automatic heavy machine gun reconfigured to fire energized slugs rather than bullets. This allows for a much larger ammo store and a dramatic decrease in weight for extra rounds.
HEBS variants can be found all over the battlezone, be it equipped with jetpacks, digging equipment or even heavier armor for front line conflicts, this versatile system delivers the extra punch of the United Nations Military Division's Infantry Force.
