The Slovak Republic, also known as the First Slovak Republic, was a semi-independent, Axis client state of Third Reich, which existed from 14 March 1939 to 8 May 1945. It existed on roughly the same territory as present-day Slovakia (without the southern and eastern parts). The Republic bordered Third Reich, the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, General Government (Third Reich-occupied remnant of Poland), and Hungary.

Hi i was surprised someone fi d us there (of course were in middle pf europe ) but one small detail under WWII we was czechoslovakia we was just conected each to other with czechs and we was under german control when SNP (Slovenské Národné Povstanie )russians beated germas at our states and where im living this was the most bombed town in this state we got the most of american bombers bombing us 6 times 1 normal bombing focused to train station we had a lretty antic very old station (fucking americans why they cant destroy only the rails germans was deporting humans truhe here second bombing was carpet bombing on to 4 bombing was everythink destryed (not everythink but most our town was created 1839 i think 39 im not sure 100% but this town gets the most of it
Well you can't really blame them for do it. It was war and everyone picked their sides and payed the prize.
Just like the Soviet planes launched massive bombing raids on our cities during Winter War & Continuation War. The aim was to break our the fighting spirit and force us to the peace table.
( But doesn't it look odd that Americans were able to bomb their target in far middle of Europe nation from behind German anti-air guns & planes? I couldn't find any source about it. Are you sure that it wasn't Stalin's propaganda for getting you befriend closer with USSR and The Warsaw Pact and cover up own bombings? Since the Red army was marching toward at Germany and there was germans in Slovakia during that time. )

During WWII we was czechoslovakia in early stadium of the war after cutting our countri was under german control i met some people (90yrs old ) who worked with 8.8AA flak canons these was the best ones ever they do rounds for artylery ground targeds and anty aircraf bu i had a question my mind we have more than 300 BF-109 G2 or G10 why they dont take of and shut them down americans had so poor aiming as they destrouyed the 300 years old hotel ZlatýLev in translation GoldenLion they destroyed everythink and im surprized they just use smal 50\100kg bombs they fucking come here with B-17 than with 24 and salt us no matter what a fuk is down there under theyr shoes wel! World war 2 was quite chaotic war. Murders, rape, executions, looting and destroying property.
People were total crazy for winning.
