God this year has been hell x.x;
I apologize so much to everyone who has been waiting for oh so long...but I have great news!
The past few weeks lightdevil and I have been talking along with fayne and have decided to get a new lineartist and redo the second chapter over, here are examples of how they style will look for some of our characters

The new line artist is 
psycohound and we're VERY excited to work with him! =D There will be a slight change as BtL will need a small amount of donations a week to allow him to cooperate with us (really, not much from you guys to help keep the entire thing free)
I will keep you all posted as more is done! hopefully things will be back in full swing in a matter of weeks and we will begin posting regularly again~

that may be so but (no offense to fayne, he's a great artist and equally great guy) he wasn't into it so much and it showed, his interests are elsewhere and his time spent on the comic was growing unreliable as he wasn't interested really...can lead a horse to water but can't make it drink~
Thanks very much for giving us an update on the situation of the comic! :) I'm glad to see that BtL hasn't been scrapped or anything...was afraid that it might have been a worst-case scenario thing. ;^^ Also looking forward to seeing how psycohound draws the main cast of characters in his art, and how Chapter 2 will be redone.
Has there been any news about the other side comics, such as RPG and Wing8? Just curious if there has been any news/updates on those as well. Good luck to you and the rest of the team and hope you'll be able to get the donations needed to keep the comics going!

RPG is going to be more of a side comic that once done will be released as a pack, we decided that the pages done will kind of be like 'teasers' of sorts and we will upload a few more as time goes by.
Wing8 is kind of...up in the air with what it'll be since this year had really taken a toll on my psyche we're planning it out still with how it's gonna go down as well.

he just wasn't as reliable with time, and I'm not saying it to be shrewd, from an artistic stand point he has more priorities on mind right now and this comic was only holding him back.
He even said several times we should look for another artist so he didn't hold us back...we finally took him up on his word :3
