He was infected with a microbe which changed his behaviour into an immoral bastard, who became obsessed with the annihilation of all things good and glad before a space-opera setting. I wanted to depict a sensitive and romantic side of the antagonist. The Unwilling Villain that he is, bad only because of a curse.
