i would have thought it would more ironic, like a treee eating a tiger or something, but by the little there is they look like they were a small baronet, or only knighted and landless, perhaps a gambeller . He was a sunny fellow though, only lucky three times.

No. It is my real family heraldic symbol^^

mine (family) is ;Vair, a lion rampant Or, between to roses, with an annulet at the bottom. Vair is a heraldric term for the representation of fur, (ironic don't you think?) Or is heraldric yellow, the roses mean my family supported Henry (War of the Roses) and lions mean courage. the annulet is silver denoting valor. Vair meant a landless knight as it happens, of the kingdom of Wales.

Oooh. That makes me wish my family had a heraldic symbol... But we're all very common. I don't know much about my so-called heritage. =)
