Once a young lad were told upon a hill remained his life and fate
Upon it he would find everything eventually, he just had to wait
So upon the hill he stood day after day as the summer days would turn cold
And every night he would leave to come back again, he had no age, no youth either to hold
And upon this hill he began to wonder if things would come his way
The wonders of infinite curiosity only held by darkness the end of day
But more than anything he hoped beyond any of the shadows cast in the hill
That someone would come to free him from emptiness, a heart to fill
And so he kept waiting and watched until he knew how many stars truly filled the sky
and tried to ignore that maybe what he were told was but only a horrid lie
So he waited still until the ground beneath him began to wear
But only did his eyes remain upon the hills beyond, only there
He knew someone would come eventually as he were told it were fate
So forever more would he stay there, he just had to wait.
