I told you guys I'd toss up some Reno Air Racing related art, and here it is. How many other people here have done air racing fanart? Here we have two of my favorite unlimited class racers, Bob Odegaard's F2G-1D Super Corsair, followed by Mike Brown's F7F TigerCat "Big Bossman." Looks like the Corsair has the fast line, but he's skimming pretty close to that pylon. Bossman has to stay high and wide to keep clear of the Corsair while he sets up for a pass on the oncoming straight. Will the extra altitude and the power of those two R-2800 engines be enough to get around? Will Mike Brown even need to if the Corsair cuts the pylon?

The first happened when most people (including myself) had already left, it was actually unrelated to the races.
The jet crash was right in front of me an my friends while we were in the pits, close enough to feel the heatwave, that was a bit scary.
The third I didn't see as I was at the vendor row, not watching the race.
