So today... I was sitting in English class and they started a discussion on "Killing Wolves" >_> needless to say it pissed me off! DX But of course I cant speak up about it because they'll just argue with me and make fun of me. (Great, another thing for them to poke at me for). But anyway... this was my innitial reaction...
1. I was all "Wait, what?"
2. "But its not their fault, you can't blame them."
3. "Thats a bunch of BS!" (they were talking about walking in the mountains and being afraid the wolves would attack them) >_> wth? <_< the wolves havent attacked anybody here, they've only what... killed cows or sheep? But everybody is under the impression that wolves are going to attack humans! <_<
Yeah... So anyway...

Like you said, long ago, humans had the impression that if you go walking down a forest or a mountain at night a wolf will come and kill you for the heck of it. I see the thought remains, and with it, also fairy-tales or stories about the Big Bad Wolf and telling wolves are cold-hearted barbarians.
We wolves, or most of us at least, are incappable of attacking anything at all without a purpose or reason. Sometimes we attack other animals we can beat only for the purpose of eating and surviving. I can't change the thoughts of someone, they'll have their reasons to think what they think, as i have mine. But i know you can understand me.
I know this should have been a bother to you, Makki, as it was to me at the moment i saw the description. But, don't fear to speak out your opinions. What's the worst it can happen? That they say "It's nothing of your business"? Hah, absolutely not. Don't mind them. Let's raise and stand against those who have been humillating us and telling lies about us. Let's have the courage to gaze into the eyes of evil. *moments later* ...Sorry for the epic drama, there. I needed to ger that out.

Most wolves are actually afraid of humans, and will run away at the sight of one. also they work in pacts so the chances of seeing one by itself to begin with are slim. *continues to ramble on like a documentary narrator for over an hour stopping every now and then for commercial break*

We are learning, we are learning.. In Yellowstone they learned removing the wolves had a negitive impact on the park. Like in many areas removing the preditors allows the animals they prey upon to get out of control..
Farmers wanted to get rid of larger preditors because they preyed upon thier livestock or that was the belief.. Now they have learned the hard way while deer and rabbits are cute with nthing to keep them in check they do far more damage than the preditors ever did.. Now its dogs and cats let run wild that are really posing a issue to the farmer,,
