omg i always wanted one of those when i was little since they eat bugs :P She does eat any type of bugs or certain ones?

some bugs arent good for mantids to eat but she doesnt seem too picky i fed her 4 small meal worms today when i got her. I would breed her too when she got older but i dont have space yet :( >.< and im scared i wouldnt distract her from eating the male well her species is much more active and prey vicious

the idolomantis diabolica from what i read is one of the largest mantids at about 5 inches for the female i think thats just about how big they can get

I love seeing mantises around, I don't see them enough around where I live. I saw them more in California. They are such a treat to watch.

yea i dont see any where i live in NYC only way i can see them is if i order a pet mantis and pray that i do well in the care. its a bit tricky
