Her Monsterous Manbeast
Been working on this for awhile! And I'm so done. Everyone who's seen it so far says to keep in in inks since I worked so hard on it. I think so too!
I'll be making prints of this for whatever next con I attend. {if you think it's too small, sorry! I'm so proud of it, and kinda like the smaller size ;3}
Barbarianess Gravey and Her big BIG Ryoku! {not even close to how big he can REALLY get. Teehee}
Jeremy fixed it for me slightly, but otherwise I'm sincerly proud of this illustration!
Microns and copic pens on smooth bristil!

Holy crap, the inking on this is phenomenal! There are really so many aspects of your work I admire, from the colors, to the lines, to your anatomy- seeing a single thing 'isolated' like this really brings out a lot of strength, if that makes sense. I can't wait to see it colored!
Hohmygod. This is freakin' INCREDIBLE. Even
tracer , who tends to be super picky about art, looked at this and went, "Wow. Wow... just... WOW."
Inkin' pens are your bitches!
I think my favourite part of this is the wee bone-shaped tag with Ryoku's name on it. Just the cute of that combined with his huge ferocity is really funny. 8D

Holy crap Gravey...the things you do! I love the inking, of course, the pose, the size difference, everything. This is just stunning! Ryoku's fur is just...decadent, and his mouth and eyes, are so wonderfully detailed! The shine on his chain, and the texture of his collar is SO yummy, and I really like how you can put whisker details in a face, and STILL have it look...not age spotty, or overly worked O.o I have a problem doing that myself. And then Gravey...O.O...DAMN, I love how curvy she is, and her horns, and face!!! Just too pretty! I really like the bandage detail at her throat, and chest, and the armor, is just, Yea...gorgeous! Even the little details of the binding behind her head, and in her earring...Yea, be proud of this Gravey you have all the right to be. Seriously....just, amazing!
Awhh you can be! You should see my ooollldd art - http://pics.livejournal.com/tombsto.....r/pic/000ww814
Just keep going! I've noticed a change in your art already since I've watched you here :3

... Well.
I'd like you to know that by seeing this you just made all my microns implode on themselves. :< WAY TO GO, GRAVEY.
I can't even begin to skim the surface of how AMAZING this looks, hun. The fine details you put in and just... CHRIST WOMAN YOUR ANATOMY WORK AND YOUR INKING. You can definately see all the work you put into this... and it's truly spectacular.
Fan. Fucking. Tastic! <3

One of the best pictures you have done, its not just because of the good character design but the detail. You know that I know something about detailing and this is a fine piece of work. I like the Macro, barbarian themed thing you have going on in this scene, not to mention the really neat skull shoulder armor on Gravey.....paws up on this piece.
"And so, the brave, strong beautiful Gravy-ra, the brown-haired pupkin, sits in the paw of her handsome, mighty Malamute Chimera beast, Ryoku-thor. together the two fearless barbarians, which hold a romantic love so strong and so deep towards each other , meet to discuss the the plans of their next latests dangerous adventure. "
Hee, I was having some little writing fun with your picture. I like comic book barbarians and I love high adventure.
Your art skiils continue to be amazing! You and Ryoku look hot and kick ass with the barbarian themes. I agree with others that you doid an excellent job with the detail of Ryo's fur, drawing in as much detail with the individual hairs of fur even inside the outlines of his arms and stuff to make it very realisitic. it's even more amazing that, combined with how you drew his muscles with the fur covering them without losing the mass and detail of the muscles (such as the little furry detail around the outline of the pecs, but still seeing the outline and mass of the pectorial muscles.) I also enjoy the realistally-drawn deeply animalesque details of his face, as he snarls as if letting out a beastly growl or something.
Gravy is so dandy and wonderful in the grungy, skull-shoulderpad bikini outfit with the bandage top (like that the top has three straps with the middle one running through the cleavage) and and horns. You do look like those barbarian women/gilrs like Red Sonja that are always scandly clad even when they get into a sword-fights and the like. Wonderful detail with the strains of hair flowing from you head, the beautiful happy-grinning pupkin face, and the spots and freckles. Again very realistic and briliant with your plump but not too fat figure.

jesus fuck, so much detail!!! PEN WORK! RIGHT ON!!
this is trully awesome! the shapes are so well defined. The girl is so squishy! >_<
this large amoun of details would probably get in the way of coloring, one thing you could try is coloring the lines the define all this detailed fur if you wen't for it
but i'm all for black & white :D

The detail on this piece was the most prominent aspect that stood out to me when browsing through your gallery. You did really, really well on the fine detail work of Ryoku’s fur, his claws and pawpads as well as Gravewalker’s skull pauldrons, the plates of her leg/arm/tail armor, and even her hair and bandages came out exceptionally well. The design for Gravewalker’s armor is pretty badass and Ryoku’s monstrous form does indeed look quite monstrous. The inking came out especially nice giving the overall image a crisp, fine detail to it’s appearance and looks really good overall.
Very nice work on the detail, the inkwork and the idea as well.
