Taken at 4 weeks old. The two albino babies from our most recent litter. They're 6 weeks old now. The female is Delilah (left), who we're keeping. The boy has no name yet, and is going to a new family in a few days.

Just make sure to do plenty of research first, they have requirements that aren't like other small animals. Our website gives a nice overview under "hedgehog care" - http://www.volcanoviewhedgehogs.com/
I'd call them mid-range. They have some specific requirements that make them higher maintenance than, say, hamsters, and they also need daily handling to be friendly. But, they have a lot more personality and ability to bond with you than most other pets their size. We opted for a hedgehog originally because we weren't ready for the responsibility of getting a puppy, and it was perfect. They live in a cage but can be very interactive outside of it, including taking them out on trips to the store, running errands, etc. They're a little pricey at the beginning, but overall not pricey at all compared to a dog, since they don't have any required shots or whatnot, and they eat a whole lot less.
