Rootaur Study 01
Just playing around with ideas here. I've seen very rare pics of rootaurs before and most didn't 'work' for me. Even here it feels like the upper torso is a bit too small for the animal body below, but when I try enlarging it, it soon dominates the body. Overall this boomer wouldn't be much taller than a standard roo. I need to make him a bit bigger I think.
Perhaps if I draw the character in a few different poses I can see if this 'works' or not.
In the mean time, enjoy an unusual taur form.

hmm.. i dunno.. when i usually hear 'taur', makes me think of a four legged creature.. but I suppose it could mean just the back half is feral :/
as for the body work, I think you do have a point there... I think you need to push the upper body back a bit more, or the second chest is curved a bit much. If it had to lean foward to move like a normal roo would, this guy would topple rather easily >.=.>; course that is my opinion.. hope it helps ^.=.^;;

Woah, freaky. Yes, kangaroos would be difficult, no, ODD, to convert into a taur. For me, what makes a roo is the tail and the legs. Therefore, I'm imagining a kangaroo body with a horse torso and head. Even though I say I'm imagining that, I'm actually having a hard time imagining that. I mean, up-standing creature bottom with horizontal-standing creature top? No, too weird.
