...that if they rode any lower on her hips, it would be a misdemeanor. In real life, that is--here on FA it would be "What--she's still wearing pants? What she waitin' for?"
No real-life inspiration for this one, unless you count the low-rise jeans and shiny ballet flats. I wanted to depict Tatiana in something somewhat more revealing than her typical casual (summer) attire than I have been in the past, since she's supposed to be unafraid of showing off what she's got, which is what one would expect from a female athlete (except maybe for a slightly larger bust). Also in attendance are a prominent hip sway (probably inspired by the Beyonce/Shakira video "Beautiful Liar" )
I didn't want to put a whole lot of effort into the backdrop of this one, so I took a nighttime shot of an arriving subway train at Prospect Avenue on the way home from work, but the lighting and backlighting effects (well, attempts at them anyway) on Tatiana made up for some of the time I would have saved by not including a background. I think this is the first time I've used a full photographic backdrop on one of my pics.
Brush inked again (size 1 round), compositing and digital color via Micrografx Picture Publisher. Original pencils 10/14/07. As with "Tatiana Redux", I was listening to Daft Punk's "Discovery" while coloring this. Especially track 8, "High Life".

BTW, saw a pic of you at the trolley show. :D
Hmmm...here's a challenge for ya: Composite Tali into a pic like this:

Or this:

in appropriate period attire. After all, she IS a time traveller... ;)
Compositing might be a bit tough with those two...though I could probably draw her exiting the PCC. Would need refs for her "period" attire too.

Well, let's see. A suitable hi-res pic of a Philadelphia Standard... I'll get back to you on that. I'll try and find something like this:

As for her "period" attire, think Mary Poppins' outfit when she, Bert and the kids are out on holiday...

'Course, the Tali image would be greyscale to match... :)
Post...well, I'll cross that bridge when I get to it >:D
(but don't wory, she's completely capable of doing pantsless too)
