For those currently unaware, Komari's hair isn't blue out of choice. Once she was baptized in her village's well as a desperate ritual, her fate as a cosmic martyr was sealed. As she ages closer and closer to the age 300 - her fated age - she grows progressively more 'n more blue. This could be interpreted in several ways; in this presentation the blueness more or less cascades down her body. Around 200 her eyes are constantly lit with blue smoke and flame, but this slips out of her regardless of age during moments of psychokinetic power or severe anger.

Around age 250 she adopts heavier clothing to hide or otherwise deal with the bright blue intensity of her body. She's mostly learned of and accepted her fate for good, wandering around the cosmos in search of good deeds and self-sacrificing tasks to better aid her with her fate.
