SOOOO I went to PS Event in Calii for September it being my 2nd time. Everything was normal and fine then I did something I normally can never do with how my confidence level is. Dancing... In Public.
and I did more then 3 times actually. The photo was taken by Someone named Yoshi (I do not know if he has a FA) he also took 2 videos and also
Did a recording for his Raccoon Den Episode. (which is here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjhyFULE81I its at 0:48 seconds)
In all event, I was happy for it. I usually do not have enough confidence in general to do the things I love in public, even to some of my friends. But you know, The response I got is what made me happy. Also I need to practice more, Im not that great :D

I know that art as Flowdance (it doesn't have an official name I think) and I use the levitation wand as my instrument. It's nice to see someone else who does flowdance or is close to it. I don't know a lot of people who do.

Ah yes that is a great example of things I like. I know a lot of the forms. I personally like sticks. I got into it back in high school days. I practice but stop cause of my confidence issue AND being made fun of being called a girly cheerleader. but 20 years old, Im happy that day happen. I love it for the fact It makes me move my body and just let thinks flow without thinking, a good relaxer when im in the mood. plus great to put to music. The first time I started it was these things called Crystal Stixs from when I was at the Ren Fair in Arizona. I still have them and love to play with them. then my friend Apsol gave me the cane I was using, and been going crazy with practicing. I want to get better at it so I don't drop sometimes cause it breaks to flow when I do and just looks bad when people watch, Thanks ^^
I know exactly what you mean. I'm really not confident in public, but, when you choose the right area, you can control what kind of audience you'll get.
Two weeks ago, for example, I performed publically at a theme park. But that theme park's particular theme is fairy tales! Result: You get a lot of openminded, fantasy oriented people for an audience, and those are the kinds of people that generally love to see flowdance! My performance was very well received!
It also IS really nice to put to music. Some songs work really well for it, I generally use OST songs for it. Searock Castle from the Trine 2 OST works well for levitation wand for example.
