First attempt at guard hair--those semi-translucent black fibers ya see on this tail, that is.
This is some practice, because I'd really like to try out the method on one of my upcoming tail slots so that I can get opinions on it.
Not bad for a first try, I don't think. I at least worked through some initial issues so I have a pretty good grasp on it.
Don't ask me how I did it, okay, it is magic and very hard to explain. I learned it from Bir LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE OKAY I KNOW.
ALSO THOSE ARE BRAIN SLICES. I thought you'd appreciate them. You're welcome.

Thank you! ^^ Yeah, one of the issues with the broad term 'yarn tails' is that it's a bit general, they're really very unique based on exactly how their maker is putting them together and such (like a lot of other crafts, really). Bir and I hope to sell at a con some day also, though we may do a nearby anime con out of convenience.
If we do add it as an option it probably wouldn't be too expensive, so, even if we didn't quote you right away on it if you asked for a quote (because we want to do a few more trials first) but then added it as an option later, it probably wouldn't be that much of an addition in cost. I'm really glad you like how they look, though, that means a lot--always good to know that what we are trying to do is something people are actually interested in, haha.
