This is a random picture I drew one day of a wolven sentinal. Basically he is a guard wtih a long thick spear with tribal like clothing. I like how the pose turned out, a pose that shows stillness yet hidden strength. The calm yet aware like vigilant expression I like as well. The large wolven mane and thick yet balanced tail look cool in addition to the bands at the base of the tail and on the forearms. All together, I find that this random picture turned out awesome. ^\/^.
For the look of the head, I though it would be cool to give him a look as though he is part timber wolf and part husky. I did the same thing with the look of hte tail and chest area. The hair and eyes are some of the best anime / manga look I have done thus far. The hands turned out better than the usual hands I draw. For a tad extra detail to the overal feral look, I added a tuff of chest fur on his chest.
I personally like how the lion cloth and belt combo turned out. The belt looks at though the body above is one a pedestal for display. The lion cloth honestly looks like multiple different cloths are used to construct the lion cloth to make this guard / sentinal look like he is from a sophisticated tribe of decent wealth. The belt and the smooth straightness of the spear also give off a sense that the tribe is sophisticated in art and manufacturing of weapons and clothing / armor. This sophistication and wealth shows that he is not from some barbaric tribe, but from a tribe still nonetheless. Most likely either a peaceful one or a powerful kind, either or both, that allows them time to make such finery and amass a robust economy to supply their guards such armory and weapons. ^\/^.
