Back in summer of 2011 whilst on a train home from Dublin I was brainstorming on the setting for Shades O' Reilly and Justice Kavanagh. My first thought was to name the place Ballyduff, only to find out that such a place already existed (three of 'em even!). So then I thought of changing it to Caherduff... only to find out much later that that name is also taken (twice!). I still think the name is an appropriate one and I like it, so I think I'll stick with it.
Enjoy!

Wonderful work on the background and the perspective, Birone! It looks lovely and I can definitely tell you're getting better. Out of curiosity, what do you color with? Because my only tip would be to leave a little bit less white space in the finished product so as not to draw any attention away from the picture.
Still, I'm impressed and I love it <3

Ta for the advice, Frindle, I'll try to bear it in mind for next time. For the colouring I use colouring pencils: a lot of Faber-Castell pencils (the polychromos ones and the normal ones) as well as Crayola ones, Caran d'Ache ones or whatever ones I find lying around. I still even have pencils from primary school!
And whilst I'm at it, I use these Uni Pin fine line technical pens for the outlining and other such stuff. Hope it helps!
