Inspired by the most recent commission of mine, I decided to do a little bit of a character development doodle of Celestina's father, Souldren.

In his "real life" incarnation, Souldren grew up in a small back town. After a few... transgressions with the law (mostly due to his dare devil nature), he was given the chance to join the military and have his minor incidents pardoned. He excelled and was crazy enough to attempt to get into the USAF Pararescue.

He survived and loved his job. That moment before a jump was when the world stopped and everything for him was complete, whole... right. That is until he lost his leg while attempting to rescue a wounded soldier. He spent two years recovering his body and emotions. Encouraged by his wife and twin children, Souldren go into a plane once again.

The world was right again.
