So I went up to feed this morning about 7. The mare and 5month old foal came down but my over due donkey was no where to be found. I started walking up through the pasture and found her...then a small white nose poked from behind her.
I'd like all my friends to welcome to the world "50 Shots of Espresso" or Espresso for short! She was still wet when i found her so she was probably born around 5 this morning! To follow her as she grows find my farm on Facebook search for B and B Farms the icon is a nautical star with 2 B's. You can also see the other foal and the rest of the herd!

I talked to the vets at OSU...they said for donkeys its not uncommon for them to go up to 18 months! We only hand breed here at my farm I don't like no knowing when the mares/jennets are caught or not. I covered her in April (on the 21st thru the 24th) and when we tried to reintroduce her in May she kicked at the jack and that was the only time she was covered.... its been very nerve racking!
