A panda tail I made for my friend 
soron1991 This tail is made of a wonderfully soft and fluffy black 2" - 2.5" fur. This tail is special from my other tails because it is fixed to the pants with a clip as opposed to belt loops. This way you can wear the tail with literally any form of pants :D

I'm not quite sure what color they are honestly :3 His fursona happens to have a black tail though so he was quiet happy with it. The clip method is really nice, I like it for when I try to wear tails with any skirts or sweatpants :D. Unfortunately it does slip off with too much activity, these are definitely a more laid back sort of tail although I plan on revisiting the design and maybe improving it a bit :3 Thank you for the heads up!
I've been thinking about it too. Maybe a clip method but have a pin to hold it in place, like a Remembrance Day Poppy Pin, it might stretch out the claps though. I've tried jean loops but I've never come up with anything that's easily removable besides tack stitching to the pants.
