So, at one point I wanted to draw a picture of a protector or guardian. I wanted him to be based off of a gargoyle, so I did some research, and found that in some places gargoyles are shaped like lions.

When I started drawing Quasi, I wasn't really sure what I wanted, so I just kind of doodled as I went. He didn't look quite finished with just lion ears, and so I added a set of rams horns as well - which I quite love.

I had planned to put someone asleep between his paws to show that he was protecting them, but I couldn't manage to fit anyone there.

I know he looks quite scary, but he's really gentle and loving, and just wants to watch over you.
