Akira Toriyama is a great artist, of this there is no question. But my favorite works from him have always been and always will be everything he does for the Dragon Quest series.

You somehow managed to make the Slime even more stupid and happy-looking than Toriyama does.

I slightly based it on how Paul Robertson draws his slimes. I just made it a bit more jelly-brained!

YES. I wholeheartedly agree, his DQ monster designs are my favorite things he's ever done. And you did them serious justice here, while adding your own awesome flair :D

I agree wholeheartedly and that's me starting out on Akiras Dragonball series first. I was LATE to the Dragon Quest series D>

That's okay, it never really gained any kind of traction here until sometime after 8 made it over (you know, considering we never got any of the others in the interim besides the first one)
