Ok xD este lunes comenzamos un nuevo módulo en el q veremos todo el mes una materia llamada "protocolo de servicio en sala" básicamente nos enseñan a dar un buen servicio de restaurante, desde cómo poner la mesa y servir hasta como expresarse y caminar...este fue uno de los ejercicios q hicimos ayer donde caminamos por toda la escuela, subiendo y bajando escaleras así como esquivando gente mientras cargábamos los platos con comida y copas con agua, obviamente sin derramar nada y pagando los platos rotos xD fue difícil pero divertido y afortunadamente no rompí ni tiré nada x3

ok xD this last Monday we started a new subject named "protocol" the basic idea is to learn how to give a good service, correct table settings, how to walk, how to talk etc etc...this was one excersice we did yesterday, walking around the school, up the stairs and down the stairs evading people and carring plates with food and cups with water...LOL we have to pay If we broke one of them and of course we must to keep the food in it, was hard and funny x3 fortunately I didnt broke anything

I had that startled look on my face when I had to deal with heavy customer traffic at work for the first time. I know what it's like ti scramble, but the great thing is you can chuckle about it later
And I deal with expensive picture frames and art supplies. Breaking stuff there is basically my paycheck gone XD

sii la vdd es bastante completa pero ya me acostumbré xD gastronomía es una carrera muy muy demandante ya q por lo general tus maestros son CHEFS y la mayoría son muy perfeccionistas jaja y bueno teneos q organizar una cena de 5 estrellas para 70 personas y encargarnos de organizar el evento asi como del servicio en él, eso es nuestro examen final xD esa es la parte dificil
yup, gastronomy in Mexico is a 4-5 years career where with some subjects like accounting, administration, costs, menues developtment, nutritional food, food's chemistry and more, you finish this career as a chef but with all the knowledge to open your own restaurant and you study the different cooks too, of course
I don't get how it is funny now if it was not funny back then, but anyways.
Did the threat of having to pay for the broken dishes help? I imagine so. No way you could have been able to sustain on your own without if you were like this. I just don't see it! And I bet if anyone did broke those, no one would have paid for them either, so I can see from a certain point of view that it also instilled a sense of responsibility as well. Glad you passed though, however you did it or others helped you to do it. Keep up the good work both on FA (I be on a faving spree. >.>) and whatever job you have now after graduating.
