Here's a request that I had been expecting I'd eventually get. The commissioner wanted a matching set of collar and cuffs with padlocks to hold them shut. Not something I'm into myself, but who am I to judge?
The commissioner had provided the padlocks. I attached the ends of the chainmail straps to the bolts of the locks in the way that I thought ended up looking most elegant (and would be reasonably sturdy and comfortable), though it does take a bit more effort to put on than would probably be ideal. Oh well, that's a compromise I made. Also, the bolts of the locks were a lot longer than I would have chosen, but they can get shorter locks if they want.
Anyway, if anyone's curious, I charged $75 for this set.

I don't know where the commissioner got the locks, but I could ask.
I don't currently have many colors of rings in this size, though I could obtain them if desired. They'd be anodized aluminum, so significantly less strong than the steel, but perfectly fine as long as you're not putting lots of force on them.

Honestly, the colorful rings are all either anodized aluminum (which is what I stock, though not yet in this size) or enameled copper (which I don't stock, and also only comes in smaller sizes). Both of those materials are much softer than the steel which I use as a default. For metals that are decently strong you can also get bronze, brass, and blackened steel. I guess there's also titanium and niobium that come in colors, but they're expensive; I could order some for a specific project, but I wouldn't stock much of it.
If you want to dig around on the ring manufacturer's website and look at things, here's a link: http://theringlord.com/cart/shopdisplaycategories.asp?id=1&cat=Rings

This reminds me of something I want to do so badly, but I'm not enough of an ass to do it. You know those ear hole earing things? Spacers, or something. I've always wanted to buy a lock, find a person with spacers, put through ear, lock, run away. Yeah they could get it off with bolt cutters, but it'd be funny in the mean time. XD
Really neat looking by the way. You'd think they might be a tad heavy though.
