I think you're missing the point here! People aren't upset because he fed his snake a mouse, that's not the issue. The issue is that it's pretty fucking morbid to post photos of an animal you just killed and as well as that, it's very irresponsible for snake owners to feed live rodents to their pets, many snakes have suffered severe injuries because people have carelessly left small rodents in their vivs. It's both kinder and safer to feed humanely prekilled animals.

I don't resent snake owners, people have the right to keep snakes and they sure have the right to feed them too! I just hope that they humanely killed the mouse first because I've seen all sorts of snakes, of all shapes and sizes who have been seriously hurt by mice. But that's fine, if you want to make that mouse's last minutes alive terrifying and stressful while risking the health of your snake, go ahead! You can keep live feeding all you want, if your snake gets hurt one day, you'll only have yourself to blame. Of course, if you're humanely killing these mice before feeding them, I have no issues with that at all, I just wish you wouldn't upload pictures like these for rodent keepers to stumble upon thinking they've found another rodent keeper only to be yet again reminded that no one gives a shit about the animals they love.
