~~ The sun was just beginning to set as she walked into the remote mountainside village, casually scanning over the population. Her mouth began to water as she noticed how deliciously well-fed the villagers seemed to be, and she walked eagerly deeper into town.
<I'll come back here tomorrow and have a meal fit for a queen!!> She chuckled softly to herself, a wolfish grin spreading across her face.
"Oh..." then her breath caught as she noticed a shop full of glass sculptures of dragons. Or more specifically, one dragon. <Someone saw me.>
She stared at the intricate glass sculptures, admiring the way the glass made the silvery white color of her coat seem to glow, and the pale violet of her mane cooled the sculpture down. Even the vivid blue of her eyes was perfect in the sculptures. Before she realized what she was doing, she had stepped inside the shop and was facing the shopkeeper.
"Um, Excuse me, but where did you get those gorgeous dragon pieces?" she asked softly, indicating the ones in the window.
"Oh! There's a glass sculptor just up the street- he said he saw a creature just like the ones in the window a few weeks ago in his own village before it was destroyed by another."
The woman blinked. <The man that escaped the village Amok stole from me.... the last one I was going to devour..... The one I actually tried to save.> "thank you.... Does he allow visitors?" she asked curiously.
"Not very often... but he seemed in a good mood when he dropped of his last batch of sculptures the other day. You could try him if you like." answered the shopkeeper.
"Thank you." The woman fished a gold piece out of her pocket and flipped it into the shopkeepers smock pocket.
He started at her. "Th-thank you miss!"
She nodded once, then turned and left. ~~
a bit of slightly older art with a short storyline I pretty much pulled out of thin air while looking at it- so that up there is my word-by-word thought process when writing things out for a first draft. lol.... X3 I apologize if there are details missing and such that make it confusing or anything....
