I'm not sure if it has a real name, but it's similar to the Muppet stitch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPM8h6kdNp0 It's a bit of an art in itself to maneuver a needle through fur and only catch the top layer of fabric, so go slow and put it on a lot to make sure you don't sew a finger shut :P
Haha that's wonderful! It looks a lot like the ladder stitch used for sewing up the stuffing/opening hole after you've stuffed a plush toy. <3 Do you sew the pawpads in before sewing both sides of the glove pieces together? Or did you sew the glove together first? Just curious because I recently made my own set... http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8765836 You can see my stitches rather well, sadly.
By the way, I positively love the shaving job you've done here on the fingers. It all looks so very professional and clean! I'd love to commission you one day, simply because your work is wonderful to see.

Yeah, I guess it is a lot like a ladder stitch-- I am ashamed to admit I am mostly ignorant about the proper names for sewing xD My mom taught me when I was too young to be interested in learning the lingo, I was too busy making sweaters for my plushies lol
And thanks! I used to use human hair trimmers but I splurged and got these ones http://www.amazon.com/Oster-2-Speed...../dp/B000LRN31A They are SO worth it if you're serious about costuming, the difference is night and day compared to the other kinds I've used.
