okay so this is my first illustration project, where we took a magazine clipping after looking at popcorn and seeing things from the shapes. I SAW A WEIRD BIRD WITH MULTIPLE WINGS SO i took a pic of this dad and drew around it to make him fit.
the concept is of imagination, “am i really here?”, “is this real?”, “what evidence supports i’m awake?” type of deal! i think i captured that nicely. because everyone who saw it was like THAT’S BEAUTIFUL but. what is.

thanks! i'm glad i've achieved a sense of composition :3 also its not my dad silly! just a random dad from a magazine cutout.. the bird is where his son oriinally was. he's probably wondering WHERE DID MY SON GO WHERE AM I AND HOW MANY DRUGS HAVE I DONE TO ACHIEVE THIS SENSE OF BEING
