One of my favorite things to do when i'm sad is incorporate art with poetry, and build the two around eachother. Sometimes I start with a line or two and a drawing develops and sometimes the other way around. This one started with the drawing. It was mean to just be pretty but it ended up looking sad, a problem i've had lately thats been driving me up the wall. It worked though, and I drew the background after the first few lines and the character. Its supposed to be the commons at my school, but the words over crowd just a little bit so I didn't have room for background stuff.
