My friends live really close so I guess they could check it out but to be honest, if he went back there he'd probably be dead. Not many people will take in animals and the pound will grab every they can. Theyre not only a kill shelter, but ALL the cats are diseased and they didn't even call my mom when the picked up her dog, he's chipped and had his collar on.
