Alrighty so the other day I was going through my gallery on DA and realized I had neglected one of my very favorite creatures! For those who don't know who this is, please check this out: http://lindsayprower.deviantart.com.....agon-125396875
The picture linked above was drawn back in June of 09, [wow seems so long ago ;w;] when I first debuted "Wolf the Dragon". Wolf looks like a winged-canine, but in fact he is a dragon of strange classifications. He has large feathered wings, a long tail with a blazing fire for a tail, [but beneath the flames is his gem: Amethyst.] The gem is his power source as well as life force, if his gem is apprehended and removed, he will die. He possesses fur instead of scales, but rest assure he is no softie. Beneath the fur is hard plates that protect his soft skin. His belly and neck do not possess these plates however. He used to wear a broken chain, now he struts with steel harness which is adapted to help the rider keep hold and balance. The "spikes" can be used as handles to keep the rider safely between his two wings.

His colors haven't changed though I'm considering changing his eye color from red to green, and added some white or dark blue into the fur to give a true pattern. c:

Ah and Wolf is his name. He is a guardian dragon that belonged originally to my Tigress fursona, [whom has long since disappeared] and now will guard Mint Chip on all of her misadventures! [or perhaps help to protect my FWD]
