Day 5 of the 30 Day Challenge!

The mission's pretty simple: Just [try] to draw one picture per day for the next 30 days. It doesn't matter the subject matter or characters involved. Just try to make the next image distinct from the previous ones. Bonus points for stepping out of your confort zone.

Geeze, I've already fell a day behind with this challenge. :V

Anyway, these two characters are Step (Kangaroo Mouse) and Beat (Cheetah). They were originally supposed to be part of their own series (loosely parodying Tom and Jerry), but I chose to add them to the Ballad of Adi O universe. Admittedly, they might be a little too anthropomorphic for the world, but... I'll figure something out.

The most back story I have for them is that Beat somehow made his way from an African savannah to the desert of Nevada, where he meets Step. Naturally, with them being cat and mouse, shenanigans ensue, but in the end, they become decent enough friends.
