I'm watching Iron Man. It's inspiring. Also, I love RJD's face. He's so expressive! And the arc reactor allows for really, really fun lighting. This is the first human I've drawn for a REALLY REALLY REALLY long time that wasn't anime-styled, and my first time for realz trying facial hair. It was really fun, and I just...totally enjoyed it.
No idea what the 'story' behind this is, I just stumbled across a picture of RJD smiling and...really liked the shot. So. Happy times for Tony. <3 It has feels.
I'm a fangirl, I know. This should go on Tumblr or something, except I have no tumblr account. Also, I'm not even 100% sure what tumblr is. Lol.
Hi.
This is me, bored and...weird.

Ehhh, I don't really draw furries, so I don't know about that...
But animals, for sure, are easier. The fur or feathers or scales are...well, the textures are easy to predict and are easy to...fool the eye with. People don't notice if feathers or fur or scales don't lay exactly right, because they're...not what we're totally accustomed to looking at. But very small issues with humans, such as wrinkles, textures in the skin, slight deviations in the size/shape/placement/angle of the eyes make a HUGE difference, just because we're naturally attuned to expect certain proportions....and something in us notices immediately when something isn't right with it.
For me, humans are the hardest thing to draw, by far. XD Of course, that's just my take on it.

Yes, actually. It's fairly easy using the techniques I used. I did heavily reference photos, and totally am happy to share the ones I worked from. I'm not really sure how to take your comment, but, um, yeah. This was about 2 hours of work. 1 hour of sketching, 1 hour of shading and cleaning up, and about 5-10 minutes to throw in the lighting at the end.
