It's the jelly shark predator again! This is a green one which is slightly different to the blue type apart from the obvious colour difference lol. Unlike their blue bretheren, as an alternative to consuming their prey orally green jelly sharks can absorb their food through their squishy bellies (or any other part of their body for that matter...but it's usually the belly). Their body is sticky and squidgy enough to immobilize prey during this attack, but this shark usually presses itself on top of the prey against the sea floor to speed up the process of pushing it inside.
Most people wrongly assume they could chew through the shark's body, but once inside the stomach prey cannot move as it becomes completely encased in thick solidified jelly.
Don't let their hefty size fool you! They are incredibly silent and stealthy, and can swim pretty quick!
Haha, I should've had this finished for shark week...oh well.

Oh trust me I always get serious food cravings drawing these guys, it's torture! I know what you mean though, it's such a tease...just the food chains way of letting us know our place I guess :( Omg it'd be so thick, squidgy and delicious, fffff.
I don't think I could eat one anyway, I love sharks too much ;_;
Thanks so much Urb!
